Maxing Out Stats
Maxing Out One's Stats
On this page the equipments have been chosen with the highest stat bonuses, if any equipment shares the same stat bonus with another equipment, then the one with the higher fame bonus will be chosen. The actual maximum weapon damage is lower by 1, for example: a doom bow is 400-499 rather than 400-500. They are also generally cheap to max or effective without being fully maxed They are the Priest, Necromancer, and arguably the Sorcerer. Of them, I prefer Necro for this role; he's cheap, gets huge heals from his Skull, and still have the power to compete with other classes (capping at 2000 DPS at 0 DEF). Game Mechanics - Item Stats/Properties In Diablo III, there are many game mechanics that can cause not only new players, but veteran players a sense of being overwhelmed and attaining new gear. You want max con and hits when you summon it. This does indeed add to its absorb (as does toughness, so you want to go max level in toughness. Those 400 hits turn out to be more like 2000 hits). After summon you want full buffs on the pet, red buffs if anyone has them, the pet has no caps on buffs. The shade only needs dex and int.
255 is the cap for all stats until you reach level 60. From there, the caps increase by 5 per level:
- 61 - 260
- 62 - 265
- 63 - 270
- 64 - 275
- 65 - 280
- 66 - 285
- 67 - 290
- 68 - 295
- 69 - 300
- 70 - 305
- 71 - 310
- 72 - 315
- 73 - 320
- 74 - 325
- 75 - 330
In addition to these innate cap increases, you can purchase alternate abilities that raise your cap:
- Planar Power (POP) = +5 to all stat caps per level (five levels for increase of 25)
- Chaotic Potential (OOW) = +5 to all stat caps per level (five levels for increase of 25)
- Potential of Serpent Spine (TSS) = +5 to all stat caps per level (five levels for increase of 25)
Casting classes also get this AA:
- Innate Enlightenment (POP) = +10 to INT and WIS stat caps per level (five levels for increase of 50)
Additionally:
- Upon completing the first tier of Dragons of Norrath Progression, all stat caps increase by 10.
Total Possible Stats:
- Base + AAs + DoN = 330 + 75 + 10 = 415 total possible (465 INT/WIS for casting classes with Innate Enlightenment)
